Bio

Kalle Kallio is a highly acclaimed photographer and videographer, currently based in Brisbane Australia. Kalle's artistic achievements have been recognised by the Finnish Cultural Foundation and his work on culture and identity together with Indigenous Saami communities has been exhibited extensively throughout the Nordic countries in prestigious galleries and museums.

 

Specializing in tailored media production for the creative industries, education, and community services, Kalle has worked with a diverse range of clients spanning from creative agencies, educational institutions, media outlets, and non-profit organisations. These have included high profile artists and politicians (e.g., Lordi; MP Erkki Tuomioja); large scale brands and organisations (e.g., Marimekko; Finland’s national newspaper Helsingin Sanomat; KPMG; WWF Australia; St. John Ambulance), educational institutions (e.g., Griffith University; University of the Arts Helsinki; Hei Schools Australia), community-oriented work (e.g., Queensland Eisteddfod; Redlands Performing Arts Centre) and social innovation projects (e.g., Sing to Connect; Rockhubs).
